Genital Warts Treatments: Which Ones Really Work

Genital warts treatments are everywhere online. If you do a search for ‘genital warts’ on your favorite search engine like Yahoo, Google, or Bing you’re going to find a TON of treatments for genital warts that are all claiming to be the best. Most of them do NOT work. Most of them are phony pieces of shit.

There are a few REAL treatments of genital warts that you can try but none of them include rubbing apple cider vinegar, oil, or creams all over your infected areas.

Genital Warts Home Treatment

If you want to get rid of genital warts without seeing a doctor then you are very limited in your options. I have personally tried (and read about) a lot of the creams and oils online and none of them really work. Some people may have some mild success with them but most of the people’s experiences that I have read about are not positive.

I did however find one genital warts treatment product that I still use today. It actually works because it’s not some snake oil that you rub on your infected area. It’s a formulated genital warts HPV treatment that builds up your immune system against the virus that causes warts. If you build up your immune system then you are a million times more likely to get rid of the warts once and for all.

Medical Options For Genital Warts

If you decide to see a doctor there are few things you can expect. The doctor will probably prescribe a cream at first. Condylox. This is a cream you apply to the area and it works by burning the tissue away. This product can be painful so if you are prescribed it be careful when you apply it to your infected areas.

The doctor may opt for in-office treatments. If so there are several options he or she may offer you:

Podophyllin Resin – this is a genital warts treatments liquid that is “painted” on you warts by a doctor or a nurse. This liquid works by stopping cell growth. The downside is that it doesn’t work on the root of the problem and oftentimes requires that you come in for more than one treatment.

Cryotherapy – this is where they freeze the wart off with liquid nitrogen. This can be painful (because it burns the skin around the wart) and often requires repeat treatments.

Surgical removal – this is a genital warts treatment in which the doctor gives you a local anesthetic and then goes in and surgically removes the warts.

These are just a few of the genital warts treatments options that you will be given when you go to the doctor’s office. There are more so if you think that you are suffering from an extreme case then you may want to go see a physician.
